The kids are finally sleeping.

Well I am sitting here with Mike enjoying a quiet moment. No feet running around, no noses needed to be wiped, no playing, just a time of silence. This is a rare occasion in the Siet house. Rarely do Mike and I get to sit and visit or spend time together unless it is 11:00pm at night. By that time I am usally exhausted and ready for bed.
Today started off getting the kids breakfast, dressed and then lunch. We then drove Briana to school. Stopped at Walmart and then came home and got the kids to sleep, while they napped I got a bite to eat, did laundry and put it away caught up on Young and the Restless, and then realized that it was time to go pick up Briana. We picked her up, and she had a great day at school today, came home and got a snack, went for a walk/bike ride, came home and got dinner, then Mike got home from work, fed him, played with the kids some more, went for a walk, got baths, and then put the kids to bed.

Here is an update on the kids. . .

Briana has been going to preschool for almost a month now, she loves preschool, she goes Mon-Wed-Fri 1230-300. She enjoys her new friends, and being the "helper" in the class. She loves painting, playing dress up, dollhouse, and having snacks. She went to her first birthday party of two twin boys in her class, and didn't want to leave. Briana has also taken up dance, and does Ballet once a week. She also takes baton class once a week and will be in her first parade this coming Sunday. She has been practicing her marching, counting to 8 over and over, while twirling! I am so proud of her, she does a great job.

Mikaya is growing like a weed, and is into everything. He likes to sit back and watch people or observe around him when at home. He also loves to explore getting into drawers, etc. I ran upstairs to get their clothes today and when I came downstairs Mikaya was in the bathroom standing on the sink playing with the water! I looked at him and said "What are you doing?" he started laughing while splashing water all over the mirror. He loves to be outside and feed the ducks, watch the fish, and play in the dirt. He defintely is all boy.

Mackenzie is playful and loves to dance. She loves her blankets and stuff animals- the more the merrier. When she gets tired she will get her favorites-Elmo, ernie, bert, kitty, doggy, rabbit, and 3 blankets. She loves to give hugs and kisses, maybe a few bites too! LOL. Mackenzie is also loves to get into things, her favorites are the kitchen cabinets and love to get into the computer if she can. Mackenzie is also a climber, her favorite place to climb is on my glass table, ugggg, this gets to be frustrating because Monkey See Monkey do.

If Mikaya does one thing, or vice verse, believe me, Mackenzie is right behind. At 10:00 at night this gets to be a little much. And then throw Briana into the mix, look out, it gets crazy in here.

I am doing good, there is never a dull moment around here, i am new to this blog thing so hang in there with me. I hope to post a few times a week.
